Treatment of Malocclusion with Protrusion and Unilateral Buccal Crossbite Using Lingual Appliance and Skeletal Anchorage

This article reports the case of a 35 year-old female diagnosed as skeletal class II malocclusion with lip protrusion and unilateral buccal crossbite. The patient chose the lingual appliances for esthetic reasons. Extraction of premolar and molars was needed. We conducted skeletal expansion of maxilla to solve transverse problems. As a result of orthodontic treatment, harmonious lip line and normal occlusion were obtained.
